TCS Aspire – Online training program for freshers before joining ILP
ILP (Initial Learning Program) is 1 of such program off TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) – India’s leading IT service provider company and known to be best among peers. It is around 3 months long training program for making college graduates to industry ready resources and it is help at various tcs training centers across India. In ILP, along with learning technical things, you will enjoy many personal grooming activities.Wipro’s software training program is known as Wipro Academy of Software Excellence (WASE) and intended for entry level graduates. Similarly, Infosys train all its graduate level employees in Mysore before deploying them to projects.
Day 1 in ILP TCS
1st day in Tcs is 1 of your busiest and hectic day as you have to complete all your joining formalities like documentation verification, bank account opening, HR, managerial sessions etc. Be prepared to spend at least 10-12 hours in company on very first day.
Initial Readiness Assessment (IRA) exam is conducted for every batch joining TCS. It is divided in 2 parts IRA1 and IRA2. Take those exams seriously because poor performance in those exams may result into rescheduling your ILP.
IRA 1 contains 40 questions and time limit is 30 minutes. There’s no negative marking in IRA 1 and cut-off is around 55-65(depending on the aspire score) out of 100. If you are unable to pass the exam, you will get remedial. Even if you can’t clear the remedial your ILP will be rescheduled.
You may have IRA2 on 1st or 2nd day of ILP. It totally depends on time availability on 1st day. IRA 2 consists of 30 questions with time limit of 75 minutes. In IRA 2, don’t guess the answer as there is negative marking. Among 5 options, all the questions may have 1 to 3 appropriate answers. But, the good news is that there is no cut off for this exam. So don’t worry!
The results of both the exams are given on that day itself.
Day 2 in TCS ILP
Various session related to HR, Security, TCS policies, Finance are planned on this day. In auditorium you have to sit and different experts will come and inform you regarding all the functions of TCS and its policies. You all will also be assigned streams like Java, Testing, Unix – C++, BIPM, SAP, Mainframe etc.
1st phase of Initial learning program
It is mainly designed for non CS people as CS people will find it very easy. All the associates will be taught basics of streams what they got. i.e. Java stream people will learn Java related technologies, Unix – C++ people will learn C++ – Unix technologies. There will be many hands on which you have to complete and also some quizzes and tests for your evaluation. You all will be provided with training materials like recorded sessions and other useful resources.
2nd Phase of ILP
Different teams will be formed (8-9 people in 1 team) and whoever performed best in phase 1 will be chosen as team leader. You all are given 1 project to work on having 2-3 modules. So team will be further divided and assigned a separate module to work on. Collectively you have to develop and present your project.
You will enjoy business skill sessions a lot. Normally you will have 3 tech sessions and 1 biz session in a day. Focus of biz session will be on improving your english, presentation skills. Email writing skills and conversation skills. This will help you a lot if you are little shy or afraid to speak in public.

TCS is operational at Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Gurgaon, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Noida, Tiruvananthapuram location too. Above mentioned locations are offshore delivery centers (ODC).
Among all, Trivandrum has biggest capacity as it is meant for ILP purpose only. As far as training and other facilities are concerned like accommodation, food, trivandrum it training center provides awesome facilities. I am not saying that other centers are not good. It is just that trivandrum is best for ILP as you will love to roam around kerala in weekends and learn and study during weekdays.
On the last day, group picture will be taken with entire ilp batch. Overall, ILP provides great learning opportunities for freshers joining professional career. It grooms them and make them industry ready.

what amount i have to pay for accommodation and will every one get accommodation.
If your joining letter mentions that accommodation will be provided then you will get accommodation. Monthly 3000-5000 rs. will be deducted from your salary towards this cost.
i have my joining date and time on 11 jan 2015 at 8:45am. Can i reach there on 10 jan?? will they provide accommodation on that day or i have to stay in hotel or something??
Yes you can go there one day before and they will provide you accommodation.
In one ILP batch how many Trainees are there?
30-40 trainees in 1 batch but 150-200 get joining on same day and they are divided into sevaral batches.
My joining date is 14 march but can i get admission on 12 march.including all cerficates submitted
I don’t think that u can join 2 days prior. They allow one prior the joining date
hi i would like to ask that I have to join my training on 4th march 2015,thiruvananthapuram.I have some doubts:
1) The travelling from delhi to thiruvananthapuram will company pay or I have to make it myself?
2) The accomodation and rest thing will be done by company?

My joining date was on 4 march 2016 and i came here by time on day of joining but i haved one backlog in my fifth semester and my result will be declared within 15 days now the hr of TCS is not accepting me.They are saying to rescheduled me.so tell me that what is the procedure of rescheduling when will got my result please consult me with a appropriate answers.
hi.. i hv my name misspelled in different documets … all my marklist have sumeet but my other documents like pan card nd birth certificate have sumit.. also i m not being able to change my current address in BGC form what should i do??? should i submit the BGC form as it is and uplod my documents or should i wait till my joining date????

Hello! I got selected in TCS campus selection and accepted the offer letter.I have a doubt that my name was misspelled in the application form of TCS so in all the details regarding me of TCS even in my offer letter my name was misspelled.But in all my personal certificates and documents its correctly spelled.I want to know will i face any problem during my ilp program or joining time?
