10 Tips To Turn You Into A Call Of Duty: Mobile God

By Nevil Patel Leave a Comment

When Call of Duty: Mobile launched in 2019, it was anyone’s guess whether or not the game would manage to find an audience.

Of course, Call of Duty remains an incredibly popular and well-loved franchise, but there was always a chance that players wouldn’t flock to this mobile installment and would instead remain steadfastly on PC and consoles.

Thankfully for CoD: Mobile, that wasn’t the case, and the game remains one of the highest-grossing shooters on mobile to this day.

If you’re just getting started in the world of Call of Duty: Mobile and you want some tips to help you dominate, you’re in the right place. Here are 10 tips and tricks to help turn you into a CoD: Mobile god.

1. Use online resources

We’re not the only site out there that will help you to achieve dominance in Call of Duty: Mobile!

Plenty of online resources exist that will help to coach you and augment your game, whether it’s online loadout and resource guides or game-boosting tools that free up system resources on your device.

You can also use websites like www.codpointsandcredits.com to secure COD Points and Credits for your game, helping you to get the weapons and gear you want to make your loadout perfect.

2. Use the Advanced control scheme

There are two control schemes available within CoD: Mobile: Simple and Advanced.

The Simple mode is the easiest one to use if you just want to get to grips with the basic controls and get a feel for the game’s maps, but if you want to maximise your effectiveness, you should opt for Advanced.

This mode gives you greater control over your aim and movement, meaning you can make more complex plays and potentially climb the ranks more easily.

3. Set your graphics appropriately

Naturally, when you first download Call of Duty: Mobile, you’re going to want it to look as good as possible.

However, depending on your device’s specs, you may need to lower the graphics a little in order to get the game playing smoothly and to prevent lag or stutter.

A smooth frame rate is much more important in an online competitive game than good graphics, so find graphics settings that work for your device and don’t compromise the performance.

4. Use the Practice vs. AI mode

We know that fighting against bots in Call of Duty: Mobile might not be much fun, but it’s certainly a good way to build knowledge.

You should head into the Practice vs. AI training mode whenever you’ve got a new loadout to test, a new strategy to try out, or just a hankering to sharpen your skills.

Bots may not act like real players, but the more you train, the more situations you’ll be prepared for in real games.

5. Understand your playstyle

Every Call of Duty: Mobile player will have a different playstyle, and it’s up to you to understand yours and use it to augment your team.

For instance, if you don’t do well under the pressure of close-range skirmishes, you’re going to want to lean towards a long-range playstyle.

On the other hand, if you prefer to be in the thick of it, then you’ll be more useful to your team if you arm up with a close-range loadout.

6. Learn each map inside and out

Knowing the contours and corners of each map is critical to success in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Don’t be afraid to spend a little time exploring maps in the practice mode and understanding where choke points, ambush spots, and control points lie.

This will mean that when it comes to a real game, you won’t waste any time wandering around the map and getting lost, and you’ll know exactly how to chase objectives.

7. Record your gameplay and watch it back

Using Google Play Games on Android (or, indeed, your phone’s built-in screen recording tool), it’s possible to record your Call of Duty: Mobile gameplay.

Any competitive gamer will tell you that doing this and watching your footage back to see where you need to improve, is critical to success.

By watching your footage, you’ll see where your weaknesses lie and what you could do in order to build over those weaknesses while also emphasizing your strengths.

8. Aim sensitivity is important

Setting your aim sensitivity could mean the difference between victory and defeat for your team in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Making sure that you have aim sensitivity settings that feel appropriate for your personal preferences means you won’t feel like you’re fighting the controls while you’re in-game.

Again, it’s a good idea to use the practice tool so that you can determine the proper aim sensitivity settings and set them before games begin.

9. You don’t always have to fight

One of the biggest sticking points for many Call of Duty: Mobile players is equating a team deathmatch with racking up huge kill numbers.

The fact is that going into a CoD: Mobile match with an aggressive mindset could actually lose you the game, as you’ll be determined to fight even when it doesn’t make sense for the game.

Hang back, watch for opportunities, and make sure you don’t concede kills to your opponent. That’s more important than getting astronomically high kill counts.

10. Don’t depend exclusively on scorestreaks

One of Call of Duty: Mobile’s most iconic elements is the scorestreak, which is a bonus awarded to you for racking up points.

It’s tempting to think that once you’ve unlocked one of these bonuses, you’re essentially being awarded free kills, but that’s not the case.

You’ll still have to stay alert because it’s possible for enemies to destroy or negate many of CoD: Mobile’s scorestreaks, so always have a backup strategy in mind.
